Unity, World's Most Widely Used Game Making Tools Now Moves a Step Ahead

Unity, a San Francisco based company which has its expertise in building tools that help the developers to make the apps and games which work on a huge range of devices has now taken its step towards the coding.

As per the company’s statement, today, more than half of the mobile game developers across the globe use Unity and in addition to that now the company is growing outside the games and has extended its operations to the desktop apps and the VR (Virtual Reality) goggles as well.
In the past,Unity had developed a game with the help of a team of eight members, which grabbed the attention of the app world all over. This was listed at a price of $ 3.99 in its initial stage itself and that is where it succeeded and became one of the top favorites in the stores rankings.
As per the latest statement released by Unity's CEO, David Helgason, his team is working on some of the aspects such as advertising and the video-replay technology which helps the developers earn for their apps and also help the user to send the game-play video clips to their friends. Unity also has its own app store which helps the developers sell their art works to one another and also in building game worlds. With this the company had saved almost $1.4 billion worth of work.
Unity: Then and Now
In the recent years, Unity has also been extending its hands for partnerships with some of the major app and device makers. In today’s date unity has its collaborations with Microsoft,Sony and Nintendo for the apps being developed for their devices can be used for free.
The basic challenges for the developers according to the framework of unity is, creation of a great game and then to connect it with the users. Since the initiation of the company it had its focus on helping the developers to create great games but now the company is also addressing the issue of how to monetize these games and to connect with the users.
The Unity way
There is an experienced two-person studio known as Colorblind, which makes a game named as Aztez. But the issue is that the two people are addressing the eight platforms along with the consoles. The fact is that, to target eight platforms and then the console it is not less than a task of twenty-person studio. And it means that Colorblind are working as 20 or 30 people with only two-person studio. They are surely experts and sharp as well, and they also use Unity.

With the emergence of Virtual Reality the gaming world now has attended new heights, quoted David in his recent statement. With the steps Oculus has taken to make it much more than just better, and this is amazing addition to the VR sector. The 3D experience of VR has brought it to a whole new level and this could be the key for its future operations. With the usage of the 360 degree cameras and the HD videos it is something like never before.
